Fishing trawler sinks in Karnafuli river

A fishing trawler named FV Crystal-6 sank in the Karnafuli river in Chittagong city. However, no casualties were reported.

The accident took place at midnight on Tuesday (June 7) in the area of ​​Nadir Shah Amanat Bridge. Chittagong Sadarghat Naval Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) ABM Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter. He said a fishing trawler sank in the Shah Amanat Bridge area at night. No one was injured in the incident. In the morning a team of us went to the scene. The area has been identified so that no further accidents occur. Now is the time of the tide. So the trawler is not visible. If it is seen at low tide, further action will be taken.
