The Islamic Foundation must be protected from the clutches of anti-independence and abolitionist ideologues

The Director General and Project Director (Joint Secretary) of the Islamic Foundation (IMF) has strongly protested against the unwarranted changes in the textbook ‘Sahaj Quran Shiksha’ of the Islamic Foundation’s mosque-based children’s and mass education program established by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to propagate Islam. Ahl-e-Sunnat Bangladesh has given a memorandum along with Rabetbaye Ulama. A memorandum was handed over to the chairman and secretary general of Rabetbar Maulana Sekandar Hossain Alkaderi and Maulana Muhammad Iqbal Hossain Alkaderi, respectively, through the Chittagong Divisional Director of the Islamic Foundation, Borhan Uddin Md. Abu Ahsan. According to the memorandum, the cover of the simple Quran education book till 2020 had pictures of Kaaba Sharif first and Medina Sharif in the last cover. But in the last cover of the book published in the year 2021, the picture of Medina Sharif has been omitted and the chapter ‘Milad and Qiyam’ has been omitted with very offensive and worrying purpose. It is not clear why the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was mistreated in the Azan prayer, omitting the ‘Waryukna Shafaatahu Yaumal Qiyamah’. In addition, the Islamic intentions of the prayers have been omitted, Darud Sharif has been omitted, Hamde Bari Tawala and Naat Rasool (R) have been changed to the Islamic activities of the Islamic Foundation. Rabita’s memorandum states that it was the anti-independence, anti-prophet and anti-saint ideologues who lurked inside the Islamic Foundation who brought about this unintended change in the book ‘Simple Quran Education’. The memorandum called for necessary action to be taken against those involved in the editing of the book and for the Islamic Foundation to be freed from the clutches of heretical ideologues. Borhan Uddin Md. Abu Ahsan, Chittagong Divisional Director of Islamic Foundation accepted the memorandum and assured to submit it to the appropriate authorities. He agreed and agreed with Rabetba’s demands. Maulana Abul Hasan Muhammad Omayr Rajvi, Maulana Karim Uddin Noori, Maulana Imran Hasan Qaderi, Maulana Hafez Golam Kibria, Maulana Imran Sikder Qaderi and others were present among the leaders of Rabetba while handing over the memorandum.
