He called for saving the dogs in Noakhali by visiting 36 districts by bicycle

The initiative was taken by two organizations called “Ujan, Manusher Gaan” and “Bangladesh Dog Welfare Organization” (Bakuks) with the slogan “Call not appeal, save hungry dogs in the streets”. On behalf of these two organizations, five friends have been cycling around Bangladesh since March 29.

After visiting the 36th district of the country yesterday (July 11), they reached the 36th district of Noakhali University of Science and Technology (NOUST) on Sunday. And they will stay in Nobiprabi for 3 days.

Satya Ranjan Rakshita, convener of Bakuks, said the government-announced lockdown was going on across the country. This has affected people as well as animals. They are suffering from food crisis. There has been a food crisis, especially for street dogs.

In this situation, in order to save the street dogs, we, 5 friends, go around the country on bicycles, distribute food among the street dogs, create awareness among the locals about the protection of dogs and plant trees and we plant 10 orchards and medicinal plants in each district.

He also said that he used to take the pots and pans and everything necessary for cooking dog food with him. More food items including rice-pulses, oil-salt.

Since March 29, 2021, I have been posting on my own Facebook from the timeline. He mentioned in the status that he will ride a bicycle to save the dog. Later many people joined it.

Satya Ranjan said that starting from Dhaka, Manikganj, Rajbari, Kushtia, Jhenaidah, Chuadanga, Meherpur, Pabna, Natore, Naogaon, Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Joypurhat, Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari, Panchagarh, Thakurgaon, Thakurgaon, I have visited 36 districts including Mymensingh, Netrokona and Sunamganj and now I am staying in Noakhali in 36 districts.

In the last two months, many people have joined this team in many ways. And anyone with a beautiful mind can join us if they want.
