26 baby pythons released at Sitakunda Botanical Garden Ecopark

Twenty-seven artificially born baby pythons at the Chittagong Zoo have been released at the Sitakunda Botanical Garden Ecopark. At noon on Wednesday (July 14), Chittagong Zoo Management Committee Secretary Mohammad Ruhul Amin released 26 baby pythons in the deep forest of Sitakunda Ecopark. Shahadat Hossain Shuvo, Curator of Chittagong Zoo, Md. Shahadat Hossain, Executive Officer of Sitakunda Upazila, Md. Alamgir, Ranger of Sitakunda Botanical Garden Ecopark and other officials and employees working in the ecopark were present.

Note: In Chittagong Zoo, 26 baby pythons were born from 31 eggs on 22 June. After keeping the eggs in a locally made incubator for about 7 days, the chicks hatch. Chittagong Zoo is playing a role in animal conservation research, education and entertainment. Secretary of Chittagong Zoo Management Committee Md. Ruhul Amin said, Twenty-five baby pythons were hatched, which were later released into the wild.
