Four companies in Bangla Bazar of Begumganj upazila of Noakhali district have been fined Tk 40,000 for failing to show expired medicines, physician samples and medical certificates.

The campaign was conducted on Monday (August 2) at noon by the District National Consumer Rights Protection Branch. The campaign was led by the Assistant Director of the Noakhali branch of the Department of National Consumer Protection. Kausar Mia.

He said supervision activities of Noakhali branch of National Consumer Rights Protection Department were conducted in Bangla Bazar area of ​​Begumganj upazila this afternoon. At that time, we have imposed a fine of Tk 40,000 on 04 companies for not being able to show expired medicines, physician samples and medical certificates. They have also been warned in addition to fines. This campaign will continue in the public interest.
