Public awareness activities were conducted at the Bangladesh Press Club office at Dos Building in the New Market area of ​​the city to prevent the spread of Corona virus. Besides, awareness campaign was organized in Barisal Bazar area of ​​Chandgaon Thana area. At 11 o’clock today, a joint initiative of Bangladesh Press Club and Bangladesh Red Crescent Society was launched to introduce public awareness activities. Journalist Masud Parvez presided over the function conducted by journalist Jahangir Hossain. Imdadul Haque Imdad, Global Director of the International Organization for Human Rights was present as the chief guest. Journalist MR Tauhid and Chittagong correspondent of Daily Sandhyabani Abul Kalam Dulal were present as special guests. Also present were journalist Iqbal Hossain, journalist Sahidul Islam Duldul, journalist Ayaz Ahmed (Munshi). At that time, a 7-member convening committee of Bangladesh Press Club was convened in Chittagong district by convening journalist Masud Parvez. Md. Jahangir Hossain, Abul Kalam Dulal, Sahab Uddin, Member Secretary Imdadul Haque Imdad, General Member Ayaz Ahmed, Azad Rahman and others were the joint conveners.
